My fifth stay at this amazing gem of a lodge. 5 star plus for the incredible staff who are always so friendly and will go out of their way to assist, the impeccable cleanliness of the rooms is incredible. The scrumptious daily meals be it breakfast, lunch or dinner is always amazing. Although the fishing was not good it is always a pleasure to travel around the area and our long serving boat guide Raphael has so much knowledge about the area plus all the bird life. The scenery is so much different to all the other fishing lodges you go to and if you are a fisherman you have the added advantage of fishing the Chobe, Kasai Channel and the Mighty Zambezi. The lodge also offers a river game drive and we were so fortunate to see quite a few species of animals and birds. A big thank you to all the incredible staff, Gavin, Cassius (my friend for life) and of course Raphael. We had an absolutely excellent stay with Ichingo Chobe River resort. The service was by far the best part, the staff are all so friendly and kind. The rooms were excellent with air conditioning and high speed internet. We loved our stay and can definitely recommend visiting.

Absolutely SENSATIONAL experience. The hospitality of the whole team at Ichingo was incredible, the house wines delicious, the food absolutely second to none. As good as any food you’d get at a high end city restaurant. We got to fish at sunrise whilst watching hippos fight right in front of us, sit in a boat next to elephants crossing the river, and be immersed in what must be one of the most alive places on earth. The flexibility provided by the way Ichingo is set up is what makes it so special. The day is completely yours, with no one else to accommodate or set timings to. We came here as the start of our Honeymoon and look forward to hopefully celebrating anniversaries here in the future. Thank you Ichingo team.
